Gold Coast Dental & Denture Centre offer the latest teeth whitening techniques to give you a brilliant smile.
Almost anyone can benefit from tooth whitening. However, treatment may not be as effective for some as it is for others. Yellow staining from aging, tobacco, dark cola, tea, coffee and red wine will achieve the greatest success. Those patients with grey shading from tetracycline or other chemicals may experience a less dramatic change.
Please note that restorations, crowns and veneers will not change colour like the surrounding natural teeth. Our practitioner will discuss the options for these with you at your consultation appointment

Pola Rapid is now being offered for in-chair whitening, with 30-minute appointment times for suitable cases. This tooth whitening treatment helps whiten discoloured teeth caused by smoking, drinking coffee, tea, wine & aging.
The Zoom Chairside Whitening system is a scientifically advanced tooth whitening procedure. It is safe, effective and fast. In only one visit, your teeth will become dramatically whiter. Zoom will give you the immediate result and convenience of a one-hour visit, the perfect choice for the busy individual.
Zoom is a light-assisted tooth whitening procedure for use in whitening discoloured teeth. There may be many causes of discolouration, including coffee, tea, smoking and red wine. During tooth formation, consumption of tetracycline, certain antibiotics or excessive fluoride may also cause discolouration.
01. Protection
A protective barrier is applied to protect the gums and soft tissue. The patient is then given ultraviolet goggles.
02. Application
A whitening solution/Gel is applied to the front surface of the teeth.
Ultra Violet light is exposed to the gel surface of the teeth over 2-4 intervals, pending each patient's tolerance.

Our dental team can produce custom-made whitening trays that will fit perfectly over their natural teeth for patients who want to do whitening in the comfort of their own homes. Whitening gel approved by the TGA will be given to the patient with special instructions on how long to apply the gel in the custom-made trays over the teeth. The patient has complete control over the process.
Tooth whitening can cause sensitivity in some of the patient's teeth. Using sensitive toothpaste or fluoride can reduce this sensation.
